Top TV Picks

As many of you know, I love to watch television and I watch a lot of it.  I am frequently asked what I’m watching, so here are my current top picks.


To get your competition show fix:

  • The Challenge (26 Seasons, Paramount Plus) Competitors come together to face grueling physical and mental challenges for their share of $1 million in prize money in MTV's longest-running series.

and a long-time personal favorite—

  • Big Brother (25 seasons, Paramount plus)  Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $750,000.


For a laugh:

  • Schitt’s Creek (6 Seasons, Netfix) When they lose their fortune, the Rose family has to move to a run-down motel in a small town they once bought as a joke.

  • New Girl (7 seasons, Netfilx) After a breakup, quirky teacher Jess moves into an L.A. loft with three male roommates, and we follow their hilariously messy romantic and professional lives.


For something a little dark:

  • Ozark  (4 Seasons, Netflix) A financial adviser drags his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder $500 million in five years to appease a drug boss


  • The Handmaid’s Tale (5 seasons, Hulu) A woman forced into sexual servitude struggles to survive in a terrifying, totalitarian society.


For a little comedy and drama:

  • And Just Like That…  (3 Seasons, HBOMAX)  The women of "Sex and the City" transition from the friendship they had in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s


  • Emily in Paris (3 Seasons, Netflix) After landing her dream job in Paris, Chicago marketing exec Emily Cooper embraces her adventurous new life while juggling work, friends and romance.

For a little heartwarming:

  • Say I Do (1 Season, Netflix) – Couples overcome obstacles to celebrate their love in surprise dream weddings designed by three experts in less than a week. From the creators of Queer Eye.
