Everyone has something to say.
We are inundated with so many different ways to be a part of the conversation happening online today.
We can like, comment, share, post, tweet and retweet (if that is even still a thing). You can
be part of an elite group on facebook or follow pages on Instagram & Tik Tok. You can also follow direct blogs, news outlets, and websites. Studies show that likes are quick and easy to do, but they don’t say much about you. Comments go beyond the surface level of liking. They show you have an opinion and want others to know it. Comments also show support and build relationships with content creators.
But what makes you take the time out to do so?
Are you a person that comments and shares personal experiences or stays quiet behind the keyboard?
Or are you someone that only clicks ‘like’ and moves on?
Is it based on how much you connect with the content, or is it based on how much time it takes?
Does having to ‘sign up’ to comment make you less likely to join that conversation?
Leave a comment and let me know (you know--if that’s your thing).
Well... I usually just... don't social media. It just makes anxiety just slowly ramp up and up and up. I am disappointed that I feel that way, but it's just better for my state of mind that way. I always enjoy your writing. It's not true of most things the algorithm puts in front of me though. 🤔
