They are drawn into a dark and sinister web of events which threatens their marriage, their child and ultimately Menley's sanity.
This was the first book I ever read by Mary Higgins Clark. I found her writing to be compelling and informative. In this novel, she captures the personalities and atmosphere of Cape Cod beautifully. She does her research and sets a well paced story with interesting characters. A great psychological thriller that leaves you guessing right up to the end. If you like mysteries with a little creepy factor thrown in and haven't read this one yet I recommend you do. I think you'll enjoy it.
