Good Vibes Only is all over these days, but, what does it really mean?
Some theorize that the phrase, ‘Good Vibes’ is short for, ‘Good Vibrations’ made popular by the Beach Boys when they released the song, rightfully titled, "Good Vibrations," back in 1966.
According to Your Dictionary, vibes are, "the emotional signals a person gives out to those around them with their body language and social interactions." An example of good vibes is a happy person smiling and having a positive effect on those around them.
Good Vibes Only is a phrase used by people to describe the positive way of living that they are trying to achieve; they are wanting to only be exposed to good energy from positive people.
